New Experience Coaching
I'm Dave. If you're reading this, something brought you here. Maybe you're stuck. Maybe you're hurting. I get it. I've been there - struggling with addiction, feeling trapped, wondering if anything will ever change. Today I've got long-term sobriety and a life I never thought possible. But here's the thing - my story only matters because it might help you write yours.

My Approach
I believe in creating space for real conversation - including the comfortable silences where insights often emerge. Together, we'll look at everything: your goals, what’s working for you right now and what’s not working. We’ll discuss reasonable action steps that you feel comfortable taking. I will listen with empathy and think about practical problem-solving in our work together, helping you see how your strengths can help you along the way.
Sometimes words aren't enough to express what we're going through. As a musician, I understand the power of creative expression and bring that perspective to our work together. In our coaching sessions, we can draw on creative ways to move forward that resonate with you.

Services
I work one-on-one with people who want to make changes in their lives, particularly around addiction and behaviors that aren't serving them well. Through focused conversations, we:
Coaching is for anyone who's ready to try a different approach, even if you're not sure what that looks like yet.
There's no single road to freedom from addiction or toxic behaviors. What works for one person might not work for you. That's why we'll focus on finding the specific approaches and solutions that fit your life, your experiences, and your goals.
How It Works
Our sessions happen on Zoom, where we'll create a comfortable and private space for you to be completely honest. It’s important to me that we create a space without judgment or lectures. I will meet you where you’re at. My aim is that you feel heard and understood.
When you speak, I will really listen, without interruption. I want to understand the full context of your story and I believe the smallest details sometimes hold the biggest clues to change. Together, we'll explore what matters to you and find ways forward that make sense for your life.

What To Expect
If you're:
Then yes, this could be exactly what you need.
Inclusivity matters to me. Everyone deserves a chance to create change in their life. Period. No matter your background, identity, or beliefs – if you're ready for change, I'm ready to help you make it happen.

About Dave
The path to becoming a coach wasn't one I planned, but it's grown naturally from my own experiences. After finding my way to long-term sobriety from drugs and alcohol, I discovered I could use what I'd learned to help others find their own way forward.
Music has always been central to my life - I'm primarily a drummer, but also play guitar and other instruments. I've recorded albums and performed live with several bands over the years. Making music has taught me plenty about discipline and self-expression, but more importantly about the power of finding what moves you.
My professional path has included years of mental health advocacy, working to create more open conversations in environments where they were needed. I've learned from great thinkers like Malcolm X and Brené Brown, whose ability to speak truth and understand human nature continues to inspire me.
I'm always reading, learning, and growing - but my greatest teacher has been life itself. It's the real experiences - the challenges, the breakthroughs, the everyday victories - that help me connect authentically with others who are ready for change.
